Anna Main Named Business Person of the Year

We’re proud to announce that our Managing Director, Anna Main, has been crowned Business Person of the Year 2025 at the North Cheshire Business Awards.

The awards, hosted by the North Cheshire Chamber of Commerce at Mottram Hall, celebrated outstanding business talent and leadership across the region. Anna took home the top individual honour of the night, recognised for her bold vision, inclusive leadership, and outstanding impact in transforming the commercial property sector.

In his introduction, the Chamber’s Chief Executive Terry Hayward described Anna as “breaking barriers in a male-dominated industry, raising the glass ceiling for women in property, and embodying what it means to lead with integrity and ambition.”
This recognition comes at a special time, as Re:volve recently celebrated its second anniversary, a milestone made possible by Anna’s exceptional drive and vision.

Redefining  Property Management 

When Anna launched Re:volve Real Estate in 2023, she set out to challenge the status quo. After more than 20 years in commercial property, she saw the potential for something better,  a company that didn’t just manage buildings, but unlocked their full value for clients, tenants, and investors alike.
In just two years, Anna has grown Re:volve into a national business managing £450+ million in assets for over 38 clients. With offices in Wilmslow, Liverpool, and London, the team has delivered measurable improvements in sustainability, tenant satisfaction, operating efficiency, and long-term performance.
Projects like Telford Plaza and Si One Business Park showcase this in action, transforming underperforming spaces into fully-let, energy-efficient workplaces with reduced costs and enhanced tenant experience.
 
Building a Culture of Excellence
Anna’s success is about more than strategy;  it’s about people. She’s built a culture where high standards and real support go hand in hand, empowering her team to take ownership, innovate, and thrive.
As a female leader in a traditionally male-dominated industry, Anna has championed diversity from the ground up. Today, 50% of Re:volve’s leadership and professional team are women, and the company’s flexible working policies are designed to support working parents and carers. For Anna, inclusion isn’t just the right thing to do,  it’s a business advantage.
 
Pushing Boundaries and Setting New Standards
This award also recognises Anna’s willingness to embrace innovation. Her introduction of ReTune, a bespoke technology platform that monitors and optimises building performance, has helped clients significantly cut energy costs and emissions while improving asset quality.
Her vision for Re:volve remains ambitious: continuing to grow the business, expand geographically, lead on ESG and sustainability, and push the industry forward,  showing that inclusion, creativity, and agility can outperform outdated norms.
